COURSE DESCRIPTION

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Ø  Raise students’ awareness of the structural elements of short story:

Ø  Provide a theoretical and practical framework that buttress critical readings of short stories;

TEACHING AND LEARNING ACTIVITIES

Ø  Critical readings of theoretical texts related to short stories;

Ø  Interpretative readings of short stories;

GRADING CRITERIA

Ø  Group work: critical reviews about texts and poems: 1/3

Ø  Mid-term activity (at home): 1/3

Ø  Final activity (in class): 1/3

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Ø  You must attend 70% of the classes;

Ø  If you are 30min late you will be considered absent;
